Double Tragedy on the McCallie Viaduct

     We can now tell you who the victims were in Thursday night's double tragedy on McCallie avenue.
     It happened on the McCallie Viaduct.
     Witnesses say a Cartersville, Georgia man stepped out in front of traffic.. And couldn't get back to the curb in time.
     He was hit by a car and remains in critical condition.
     But that incident led to a worse one.
     Fredrick Cross stopped to help the man, but was then hit by another car himself... and killed.
     The driver of the second car says she was distracted by the first incident.
     Charges are pending against her.
