Convicted Sex Offender Gets Accused of Exposing Himself to Six Year Old On School Playground
A convicted sex offender gets in trouble with the law once again. Hamilton County Investigators say Terry Beason exposed himself to a six-year-old playing at the Falling Water Elementary School playground last Friday. An innocent evening on the playground at Falling Water Elementary School turned sour Friday when a six year old and the child's grandfather spotted something sordid in the wood line behind the school. Detective Mike Cox managed to track down a suspect. It was 44 year old Terry Beason. He was convicted of attempted rape of a child back 1999. The registry classifies him as violent. Detective Cox says the grandfather identified Beason in a photo line up. Parents express relief that a suspect got caught but there's lingering concern. And Police are thankful that nothing worse happened. Sharp says he couldn't have done it because she says he has severe Parkinson's Disease and an alibi. Beason is charged with observation without consent and indecent exposure. Detective Cox says he could later be charged with violation of the sex offender registry.
His sister spoke to WDEF News 12 declaring his innocence.
