Congressman Zach Wamp Responds to Barack Obama's Message to Tennessee GOP

Who said what....black,white,same old political sludge...Let's talk about real issues...Why do American Workers have to look to foreign car makers for jobs?....What happened to our country? Did the "law" and "legislators" kill it by demanding society reflect their own ineptness?..I want a government that is not an ostructionist gaggle of half measures...I want a US that can produce something other than stupid laws,lawyers and egomanical politicians...I don't care if your black or white. Just be American for what used to be the greatest country in the world.... an asian american

I think it is really a shame that certain Republicans and Americans would refer to Michelle's comment as beening unpatriotic. Let face it, America has not been kind to people of color since the beginning of America.....We all know the history on that.

Now for the first time in history a black man has come this far or even beening consider as a canditate for the democratic party was showing progress...and she was proud of America........But as you can see America hasn't really made that much progress has it?

Obama is absolutely right! He is the candidate and he is ready and willing to be scrutinized, even to the "lapel pin"!.. Michelle is to be respected and appreciated for not opposing her husband's presidential ambitions. I think that those who make Michelle a target for attack are the same people who see in Obama "an outsider" whose ideas for change should be feared. On the topic of change, I would not like to see Hillary offered the VP post. Someone so deeply compromised in the Washington establishment and power games is not be a credible agent to support change.
It's not surprising that a campaign that gets petty enough to scrutinize "lapel pins" (give me a break!) doesn't hesitate to use any low approaches they dream of. Apparently they never heard of "the higher road"!

The Gop Had better take heed if they keep attacking Michelle Obama. They ought not to forget about Cindy McCain. I don't believe they really want to go there.

It is just my opinion, yet somehow we have lost touch with the issues. When we get involved with the tactics that all politicians use yes even Obama. The ploy is to get you stirred up and responding. We should be looking at the real issues. Not what the politicians are wamting us to focus on. I am not trying to sling mud or take a side in this issue, just wanting all of us to consider what we want for this Country. Is it true change, or hope of change? Can the Democratic party who has for many years been the true champion of Mud slinging really be changing or is this just their talk. Can Republicans offer any better Hope? What this Country needs is for Politicians to quit all talk and prove that you walk the walk. Don't give me a false hope then wind up just as your predecessors did. And give me a true record that you have the answers not just a plan. have you enacted any legislature to back your talk of change? Or have you enacted any legislature Help the american people? It, is about the American people, right? Not about what you give as a political promise to the people. I am just wondering instead of bowing to trash talk and the pointing fingers. Show me your record John McClain, Barak Obama, & Hillary Clinton, I would like to support a candidate that is Honest Trustworthy, and 110% American, Willing to go the extra mile for the Country. TO put Her back in Front and above the rest of the world, where she belongs not being degraded and demoralized by your mud slinging and finger pointing. Are we like the rest of the world where people demonstrate and throw vebal attacks on each other. Or do we stand for the Freedom of the people and for the people and by the People? I can say for certain, as a black person, for the first time in my adult life I am really proud of my country...because I feel that for the first time in my life, America sees me and those I identify with, as a person. For me, its as basic as that. I support Michelle 100%.

The Republicans must think we are really gullible to fall for their attack ads again. That's how we was stuck with the government we had for the last 7 years.
No one think Michelle does not love America, or she would not be putting up with this mess.

It is essential that Barak fire back and hold these cowards to the light of day...When these despicable tactics are questioned and rejected, it helps raise the level of the overall process.....

It was a total distortion that was obvious to anyone that heard the remark. The enthusiasm the Obama campaign generated made all of us proud. For the first time in a long time there is a positive feeling about politicians actually wanting to represent the working class people. It was a sad day for Tennessee when that ugly attack was made public.

Yes, Zach, "you are always going to have this". Always mud slinging. Excuse it Zach, after all it's the Republican Party.

The most unpatriotic person in America is George Bushwhacker. He hates America and is ruining the country. He is trying to destroy America for his own gain. His policies and the support of his fellow Republicans have ruined the economy. He hated the citizens of New Orleans so much that he threatened action against all looters, but he would not send food and water for at least two weeks. Hey, starve to death, but leave that man's flooded store alone. Leave that wet loaf of bread on the shelf. We're sending the National Guard.

He hated the victims' families of 9/11 so much that he and his Republican Party enacted legislation to ensure that the families could not sue to collect from the negligent airlines nor sue the government. No help was given.

He manufactured a war using lies and sent many of our soldiers to their death for the lie. He hated them. Tony Blair aligned with him in the lies, and the citizens of Great Britain were inteligent enough to cause his removal. Bushwhacker said we had to hurry and begin this Iraq war before 2004 elections. He knew the old adage that a President always gets re-elected in wartime.

Oil and gas prices are high now because of the effects of this illegal war. Congress enacted law to give Bushwhacker power to wage war to pursue terrorists. So he lied and said he was pursuing terrorists in Iraq. They were not in Iraq. He had no legal authority to start the war. He hates America and it's people, but he loves himself.

Bushwhacker broke the law and also lied to Congress about his reasons for starting the war. Bill Clinton was impeached for lying to Congress. Why wasn't Bushwhacker impeached? Because the Republican has the power to prevent that, and the party has the same goals as Bushwhacker. Unpatriotic haters of America, who would like nothing better than to fatten the pockets of the rich and send the rest of the country down the tubes.

If you racists and Republicans who are just looking for anything to slam Obama with had any eyes and any mind to think with and actually truthfully cared whether the President was unpatriotic, you would have been saying the same thing about Bushwhacker and his Republican cheerleaders long ago; so people really don't care about that- it's a lie, too.

This "unpatriotic" bashing and witch hunt was started by Bushwhacker's statements he used to divert attention away from his own dirty deeds. It was unpatriotic to question the evil President. He was a hippocrit and a liar when he said that.

I'm sure Zachie fully supported Bushwhacker.

Try all your mud slinging. Hillary tried it and look where she is. Sometimes it backfires.

It is really bad - when you have to get down in the gutter. Everybody knows that Michelle words was taken out of content and deleted. Most people today are smarter than the Republican Party would lead you to think otherwise. We know the game that is being played - only justice will prevailed.
