Congressman Wamp On Republican VP Palin

     Congressman Zach Wamp was back in his home district Saturday to take part in that veteran's ceremony.
     He just returned from the Republican National Convention, where he says he's about the selection of Sarah Palin for Vice President.
     Congressman Wamp says, "But I think the Reagan democrats, who swing elections, the people in the middle, they like her because she's a common woman. She didn't come from a political family. She didn't come from money. She's a regular person, who played high school basketball, and she's had a family. She got involved in politics at the local level, and she worked her way up, and quickly now she's gonna have a chance to govern. People like her."
     Wamp says McCain is probably the most qualified candidate for president in 50 years.
     He also thinks Palin will be a strong leader, making the Republican ticket even stronger.
