College Smoking
Comments Below: 0
It may not be illegal for most college aged kids but that doesn't mean it's not dangerous, even deadly. And it looks like smoking on our campuses are hurting more than just those who light up.
A study by Wake Forest University School of Medicine found second hand smoke is pretty common. 85 percent of students surveyed in North Carolina reported they'd been exposed to smoke in the past seven days. The most common locations... bars and restaurants, homes and rooms and cars. Researchers suggest students try to avoid bars and restaurants with smoke, ask people not to smoke and push college leaders for smoke-free areas like dorms.
Remember, breathing other people's smoke can be your big problem. Stay safe and healthy.
