Chattanooga Police Charge Mental Patient with Aggravated Robbery

A former mental patient is in jail today after reportedly stealing a car and crashing it.
David Wilkey faces an especially aggravated robbery charge.
Police say he stole this car from the Quality Tire Center just moments after leaving Joe Johnson Mental Health Center.
He crashed just a short time later.
One other person was injured during the incident.
Wilkey and the by-stander were taken to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment.
Wilkey's bond is set at $75,000.
