Kids at the Chattanooga State Child Development Center catch VW fever. "Bugville" is the newest addition to the outdoor playground. The new playground design and renovations were completely funded by community donations. The brightly painted 1970 Volkswagen Bug was donated by B & F Auto Sales and Parts. It seems to be the kids favorite part of the new playground. President Jim Catanzaro explains why: "Why not celebrate our wonderful association with Volkswagen, really have something for kids to play on that is unique. Really quite unique." Lance Mayweather was in the driver's seat Tuesday morning. "I'm driving to a place. I'm going to go to Chuck-E-Cheese!" he said. The playground is on the school's main campus on Amnicola Highway.![]()
