Breaking News: Painting Crew Mishap on I-24
Update:
One worker killed, another critically injured in bridge painting incident. Police say a truck hit the crew painting the bridge at the Ridgecut. Traffic still backed up on I-24 west bound.

Initial reports have one man dead in a work incident on I 24 at the Ridgecut.
It happened to a painting crew suspended over the side working on the bridge.
Apparently their rig was hit by a vehicle, flinging the men who were on the apparatus.
One was killed, but the condition of the other two workers was not immediately known.
Traffic has been blocked at the Ridgecut while emergency crews respond to the scene.
