Battlefield Farmer’s Market Sowing Plans for a LaFayette Market

The markets will be held on Monday, June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14 and July 21, from 3-6 p.m. in the parking lot behind Joe Stock Memorial Park on North Main Street.  Vendors selling fresh produce, meat and eggs, as well as plants and quality handcrafted items, are invited to apply to sell at the LaFayette market.

A vendor interested in participating must fill out an application form and pay a $20 non-refundable processing fee.  All products sold at the market must be produced on the vendor’s property.  Vendors must be independent business people, not part of a corporation, partnership or joint venture.

  Artisans and artists are also invited to apply to sell their items.  Their items must be handmade, not imports.    Battlefield Farmer’s Market will continue to operate on Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at the Walker County Agricultural Center off U.S. 27 in Rock Spring behind the Civic Center, where shoppers are often treated to live music.
