An arrest had been made in the murder of a Southern Adventist student missionary.
Students are leaving notes and remembrances for 20 year old Kirsten Wolcott.
The junior english major was teaching 2nd grade on the Pacific Island of Yap.
Her body was found with stab wound in a wooded area Wednesday.
Wolcott apparently went alone for an early morning run.
The Virginia native was taking a year off school to serve in the mission field.
SAU Chaplin Brennon Kirstein says, "We're still in the early grieving process, but it also sharpens the focus."
Kristina Dunn is the SAU Student Missions Club President, "Her sweet spirit and her kind and loving nature that many people fell in love with was an will be a lasting legacy."
A campus memorial is planned sometime after Thanksgiving.
