Chattanooga is also losing more manufacturing jobs. But the Visant Corporation has announced plans to consolidate that operation into a facility in Illinois. Arcade will continue to make labels at the Chattanooga plant. The facility will lose 150 jobs later this year. That will leave 190 people still working here.

Sad
Visiant is out right lying about the number of employees who are losing their job. More than 3/4 of the employees are being let go, and a lot of them have over 30 years of service. Only time will tell if this big Corporation has any kind of heart.
Some of these people have been here their own lives and are puchin retirement in 6 months to a year, what is going to happen to them?
