
2 Victims in Critical Condition Following Athens Shootings

Athens police are trying to sort out a triple shooting from Tuesday night.
Two people remain in critical condition .. While a third is in jail.
Police were called to a home on Virginia Avenue in Athens last night.
Witnesses there say that Bradley Wayne Adams knocked on the door.
He said he had been shot in the hand and wanted to know who did it.
Witnesses in another room said after an argument.. They heard gunfire and found Michael Hewitt with a gunshot wound to the head.
They then struggled for the gun.. And Chase Bevis.. Who was with Adams.. Was shot in the abdomen.
Bevis and Adams fled.. But each drove themselves to the hospital.
Adams faces two counts of aggravated assault.
