Disconnect your existing antenna by pulling or unscrewing the coaxial cable from the "antenna in" jack on the back of your TV. Connect the antenna cable to the "antenna in" jack on the back of the converter box. Use the supplied coaxial cable to connect the "antenna out" jack on the converter to the "antenna in" jack on the back of your Television Set. |

NOTE: The red, white and yellow auxiliary outputs can be used as an alternative to the coaxial cable if your set is equipped with corresponding inputs, or to connect a VCR. The supplied red, white and yellow cables are OPTIONAL. They DO NOT need to be connected for your converter box to work. |
Plug in the converter box power cable and install the supplied batteries in the remote control. |

| **Special Note | |
| If your antenna connects to your set through a thin, flat wire hooked to a pair of screw terminals instead of the threaded coaxial cable input, you will need to use an inexpensive antenna adaptor, available at your local electronics retailer. |

| Scan For Channels - Follow These Three Easy Steps |
| 1. Turn on your television and tune it to channel 3. (If channel 3 is in use in your area, check the converter box manual for instructions on how to use channel 4 instead. ) |
| 2. Point the converter remote toward the converter box and press the "power" button. A small light on the front of the box will indicate that the box is getting power and has turned on. |
| 3. The first time the converter box is powered up, it will either prompt you to scan for local channels, or begin scanning for channels automatically. Be patient. This could take several minutes but will only happen once. Once the channel scanning process is complete, your converter box will be ready to use. |
| EXPERIENCE IT!!! |
| Press the "Channel Up" button on the converter box remote to explore your new digital stations. Don't be surprised it you suddenly receive many additional channels. |
| If any of your desired stations are missing, refer to the converter manual for instructions on how to add additional channels. |
| Sit back, relax, and enjoy the added features and superior quality of Digital Television. |

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q: What kind of converter box should I buy? A: All converter boxes will do the job. Just be sure that the one you buy has the analog pass through feature. We've been told that those that do not have this feature are no longer available in this area. |
Q: What is analog pass through? A: Analog pass through allows you to view both digital and analog signals on your set. Without the analog pass through feature, you would have to physically disconnect the box every time you change from a digital channel to an analog channel. Or, you would need to install a splitter. |
Q: What if I already bought a converter box, and it doesn't have analog pass through. Will I have to buy another? A: Check with the retailer you bought it from. You may be able to exchange it. |
Q: How much do converter boxes cost? A: Prices vary depending on the brand. Most sell for $50 to $60 Retail. With the $40 Government coupon your actual cost will be about $10 to $20. |
Q: Where can I get a $40 off coupon? A: You can order them on line. Click Here. Select #1 Apply for a Coupon. |
Q: Can I get more than one coupon? A: Yes, this program allows TWO $40 off coupons per household. |
Q: I have a converter box. Can I hook it up now, or do I have to wait until you switch to digital on November 10th? A: YES. As long as the converter box you bought has analog pass through, and it is installed properly, it should not be a problem. |
