How seriously should we take Russia's invasion of Georgia?

what we need to take seriously are the lies of bushco

Abkhazia voted unanimously to break away from Georgia for the THIRD TIME since 1992.

South Ossetia voted unanimously to break away from Georgia for the THIRD TIME since 1992.

Of course, the little black piss-poodle, Arf-Arf, comes on a photo op to say that Russia is in violation of all kinds of international and UN Security Council agreements but could not cite a single one. It was just Arf-Arf peeing on the Russian Bear again. BOTH areas voted in 1992, 1994 and 2008 that they have NO DESIRE to be part of Georgia.

The first time they voted in 1992, Georgia perpetrated genocide on those areas as punishment for the vote.

Of course, 'der Diaper Meister' warned Russia not to recognize these votes by people who have no desire to be part of Georgia.

This recent 2008 Georgia slaughter of S Ossetians was not the first incident of genocide by Georgia, it was the SECOND.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree recognizing the absolute independence of both areas and their peoples' status. Medvedev was succinct and very clear: Russia will defend the Christian citizens of Russia. Period. End of statement.

Do not lose sight of the real issues. These are Russian Orthodox Christians, Russian citizens, who do NOT wish to be under the boot heels of a Muslim-Zionist Jew controlled government in Tbilisi which, of course, is a complete puppet of the US and Zionist Israel. This is the third time since the breakup of the USSR that these 'breakaway' regions have reaffirmed their desires for independence by democratic vote.

Now, here is what Mickey S had to say...paraphrasing:

1. * The actions by Russia are illegal.

2.* RUSSIA IS TRYING TO CHANGE EUROPE'S BORDERS BY FORCE.

3. * Western leaders MUST speed up the integration of Georgia into NATO and the European Union.

Folks, EUROPE ENDS AT THE CAUCASUS MOUNTAINS, which is the northern border of Georgia. Georgia is CENTRAL ASIA, NOT EUROPE. That is a geological fact. At best, they are Eurasia, NOT EUROPE.

Imagine the deceit. 'Russia is trying to force Europe's borders to change' by any action it is forced into taking in Central Asia. Huh? WHAT HYPOCRISY.

Russia has made it clear that if the Zionist West re-arms Georgia, Russia will crush Georgia and end this discussion and these bullshit photo ops by Bush and Rice. My sources in Russia inform that Russia is already prepared to respond to any attack by Georgia, NATO or US, or Israel, regarding the matter in Georgia.

One BBC reporter challenged Medvedev as to why Russia went way beyond the boundaries of South Ossetia into Georgia, including the port of Poti and the new protective zone around South Ossetia.

Medvedev responded that from now on Russia will enforce the peace in this area, not Georgia, not Europe, not NATO, not the US.

The trust has been broken. Peremanently.

Just occurred to me, the Russian naval task force to Syria is also to block the Bosporus Strait if need be.

Russia is not going to back down.

more of the hated truth

Georgian offensive
An entire Jewish area has been wiped out as a result of Georgia’s military offensive in Tskhinvali. Witnesses in the South Ossetian capital say there’s hardly a home standing in the area where the city’s Jewish population lived.

Out of 20 families who lived in the Jewish neighbourhood, only one is left. Nobody knows where the others are, whether they’re alive or dead.

“I was pushing myself up against the wall when the bombing started. Next couple of days I spent in the basement,” recalls local Jewish resident Ribka Jinjikashvili.

Jewish people in the city say they’ve always lived in peace with their neighbours. They considered Tskhinvali to be their home, but found themselves in the midst of an ethnic conflict.

Journalist Zalina Tskhavridova says Tskhinvali 'is a multinational city'.

“We used to have a Jewish neighbourhood, which was one of the most authentic and historical streets in the city.

“The genocide was committed against civilians of South Ossetia regardless of their ethnicity,” Tskhavridova said.

South Ossetian Jews say they are waiting for the Israeli government to save them. But since many of them hold Russian passports they are unclear where they should turn for help.

truth

The fact that Georgia invaded the Moscow-leaning province of South Ossetia–and that Russia countered the attack in order to protect the mostly Russian citizens residing there–is news that is hard to come by.

In an interview with Ria Novosti on August 10 2008, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin accused foreign media of pro-Georgian bias in their coverage of the Georgian war:

— “Why don’t television screens in the West show the suffering of the Ossetian people, the murdered elderly people and children, and the destroyed civilian towns? Western media’s coverage of the events is a politically motivated version, to put it mildly.”

Georgia made the first move, didn't they?

Was it not Georgia's burning of churches filled with huddled survivors, and kidnapping all of the women of border villages that prompted Russia's retaliation?

Better go back and study

Better go back and study history. The Russians took a page straight out of the Nazi book. They invaded Poland in 1939 while claiming that the Poles started it. Russia's so called "peacekeepers" were just their advance army which did all of the planning for the Russian invasion. Putin and company have been planning this for a long time. The Ukraine will be their next target.

YOU need to study RECENT history, not ancient history

Wake up dummy! Look at our own "leaders", they WROTE the fascist play book! Maybe if you get all of the news, and not just the pablum and lies of the fascist controlled media, you can then form an educated opinion. Until then, don't presume to school me. (see my two previous posts taken directly from other news feeds).

maybe you should study recent history

The facts speak for themselves. Although you are referring to the now defunct USSR, who, if you will remember, were supposedly our allies, at least by the end of WWII. The Russia of today has somewhat changed their spots, at least it would seem so. The current action in Georgia was brought about by the actions of Georgia, with the O.K., and funding from the idiot king georgie. A perfect example of machiavellian politics with one flaw, the instigator is revealed. Bottom line, these are not our countries to interfere with. The countries where we currently have troops have resources that bushco want to plunder, otherwise we wouldn't be there. Let's just take a look at bushco's next target, Iran. Our involvement in the NATO conspiracy must end or we may well become the new equivalent to Nazi Germany, or more aptly put, the new Roman Empire, doomed to rise and fall at the hands of the rest of the world, who, for the most part already hate us and would love to see us fall. Maybe you should dig a little deeper, and take a good long look at the big picture before you presume to school someone else.
