Should Georgia Ditch The Sales Tax?

Last year, House Speaker Glenn Richardson tried to get rid of the property tax and failed.
Now the chairman of the Senate appropriations committee is targetting the sales tax.

No Coolidge Park. And the Walnut Street Bridge was closed. The economy was in a shambles as the old industries in town were dying. It realy was a different world in Chattanooga.

Two years ago.. Georgia lawmakers eagerly voted for publicly funded Bible classes.
But there hasn't been much interest in them.
