Should Georgia Ditch The Sales Tax?

Last year, House Speaker Glenn Richardson tried to get rid of the property tax and failed.
Now the chairman of the Senate appropriations committee is targetting the sales tax.
Kayakers Stranded By Flooding Conasauga River

The Conasauga runs through the Cohutta wilderness in Murray county georgia.
The kayakers from Polk County headed out while it was still raining yesterday afternoon.
But the river rose too high.. Forcing them to seek shelter.
They were stranded under a rock ledge near Jacks River overnight.
Rescuers got to them this morning.
They found the pair wet and cold.. But otherwise okay.
