Three years ago, Braxton Lynn Hicks beat an elderly couple to death during a robbery.
Their bodies were found in the downtown barber shop they ran.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says four people were shot in the parking lot at Fat Boys Bar and Grill on Highway 2-77.
TVA Plans Conversion of All Wet Coal Ash Storage Facilities to Dry

TVA President and CEO Tom Kilgore provided an update on the process today. He says it will take nearly a decade to complete.
Scottsboro Schools Remain Open After Flu Death, Another Child Dies in Tennessee

The decision comes following the death of 12-year old Alex Garcia.
He was a student at Collins Elementary.
The boy appears to have been infected with the swine flu.
The state department of public health made the call to keep the schools open...
And administrators want parents to know they're taking every precaution possible.
