I agree with you linda to pray and forgive.However,the bible says a 'rod for the fools back' not for the wives.
Instead the bible says husbands love your wives....it does not say husbands love your wives if they are submitted. This is just between the husband and God.

wives be submissive is the deal between God and the wife. If a wife is not submissive she is answerable to God . Husbands have no right to ask the wife to be submissive- their duty is just LOVE.

Wives and husbands when they obey God-everything falls in place.
