JUANITA'S CHOICE
first of all how do we know she is making haste. do you know how long this has been escalating? maybe you feel you deserve to be beat and if that's your thing then more power to you, but THINGS LIKE THIS DON'T JUST HAPPEN SUDDENLY! EVERYONE has to be accountable for themselves. we need to stop making excuses for severe behavior. that is the same teaching that binds women from pants, jewelry and make up because you may cause a man to stumble. well in my opinion if he has that spirit it was there before i came along and trying to govern and cover up his problem is prolonging the inevitable. the dog in him will come out. This situation was new to you but not new to the couple behind closed doors. just because you just found out doesn't mean that small situations were not happening all along. we are so quick to make a counter decision for someones life that we can not live or change. prayer still works and when we don't understand and it doesn't go like we want then we should realize we are not the head nigga' in charge. Jesus got this. no where in the bible does it tell us to remain and be beat. if my memory serves me well when we marry we are one. i should do no more to my spouse than i would my own self. i make mistakes, get myself flustered but i don't throw myself on the floor and bring harm to me.the urge to fight was already there the same way you say her dominating character was. so this is a decision she is making and one she has to live with. if she makes money from it then don't hate because you are still scared to step out and tell your story, share your battles and testify of your victories. neither of them has publically state that they are going to backslide so i am sure there is time for GOD to fix the issues you(LINDA)see. this couple has been watched since the begining if you thought GOD was with them then keep watching and let him have the last say. we should pray for ourselves as well i am sure we all know someone if not ourselves that has been touched by domestic violence. some lived to tell it some still living in it and some died in it. so linda as you have said IT IS GOD's judgement.
