We aren't living in a make believe world. You are experiencing tunnel vision. You see only what the news puts out there... and right now it happens to be an attack against an innocent breed of man's best friend. Pit Bulls... even the ones bred for fighting were never bred to bite humans. That is showing fear. When Pit Bull fighting was a popular thing the breeders would automatically kill a puppy for biting a human. They were bred not to fear anything and attack only on command. That is why they are a great pet for children. My 10 month old son can punch, pull tails, pull hair, and not one of my 3 pit bulls would ever even snarl at him. They love attention and no matter what I might do to them if they have done something they know not to, they would never snarl at me. They are just like any other dog, they love to make you happy. You have to understand the dogs that have been in these articles about attacks and such, most of the time, are stray or beaten, or not well taken care of. If your child were to grow up and kill someone, the news paper's would always bring up his back ground or how he was raised. Same Here. The people who don't do there research and just listen to the news and think they know it all are just ignorant.
