pitbulls
I met my husband 6 years ago and he had a pitbull. I was terified of him because of all the stories you here. The first time I went to pet him I fell in love with them. They are such unique animals. They are so fun to watch. We now have 6 pitbulls. We breed them and raise our own. I have 2 stepchildren ages 9 and 11. My 9 year old has been feeding all our dogs since he was about 6. We have never had any trouble from our dogs. Most of the time the attacks I have seen or heard about have been mixed breed dogs, they are not even fullblooded pitbulls. People have started this stereotype with these animals and it's sad. I feel the people that are wanting to ban them are the ones that just don't want to get to know them or about them. If they would take the time to learn about the history of the animal they would be amazed. But, it's just like with different races of people, until you get to know someone from another race or learn about their history we will always be fighting!! Hixson,TN
