PITBULL BAN...
I don`t own a Pitbull but support banning Breed Specific Legislation whole heartedly! WHAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IS "BANNING STUPID OWNERS." It`s not the breed that causees the problem, it`s irresponsible ownership, and this doesn`t just mean spay and neuter your dog either! We have laws to protect us from man-eating dogs of all breeds. They simply need to be enforced and RE-inforced. Most current leash, confinement, and others laws governing dog owners should be effective IF they are enforced, and/or the penalties are sufficient to the crime.
I also support laws in which there are stiffer penalties when a dog is used in commiting a crime, the more violent the crime the harder the penalty, but NOT breed specific. Even the best, and most well thought thru laws are useless unless they`re ENFORCED.
Please I beg you all, think about this and BAN THE DEED, NOT THE BREED...because if Pitbulls are banned criminals will just own some other breed and then you`ll have to start all overagain.
Thank You,
Robby Paulsen
