Mammogram age is being raised
On so many levels, this is wrong. First of all, there is a whole group of women in this age group who have had breast problems. They will need a mammogram anyway, so this is really a moot point. They have either had a hysterectomy, problems that need looking into, such as a lump or something, and they are not going to accept not being able get a mammogram. And believe me, the insurance companies will not be ale to say no now that men are getting breast cancer as well. You do not see Lance Armstrong having to do all the things that women have to do in order to get the funding for breast cancer research, and do you know there is no funding for uterine and cervical cancer? There is a little for Ovarian, but it is small compared to many other cancers. Basically, what will happen is the insurance companies will get sued because they denied a test that could of saved their patient, and they will place it back on the books immediately. It may not have to go that far, even.
