A call to authorities about an open door at a residence this morning in Marion County turns into a murder investigation. Deputies entered a home on Cheri Circle and found two small children asleep on the couch in the living room.
Then, they noticed what appeared to be blood splatter in the kitchen. While searching the home, deputies found the body of 27-year old Brandi Dawn Duba. Investigators say she was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed multiple times.
Authorities found Duba's vehicle crashed and burning on Ketner Mill Road.
They're are looking for her boyfriend, 29-year old Michael Shirley, for questioning. He has tattoes all over his body... Including a red swastika on his back.
If you've seen him, contact Marion County authorities.
