Local army reservists will be home in time for Independence Day!
Wednesday, we told you they were coming home on the fourth.. But now they've moved up the return by a day.
Friends and family of the 591st Transportation Detachment made signs and prepared for their homecoming today.
They made a huge banner to hang over the door.
Organizers plan to decorate the building tomorrow morning before the 591st arrive.
Staff Sergeant Ramon Sampson says he wants to give the detachment a warm welcome home.
Staff Sgt. Ramon Sampson\Army Reserve:
"I've been deployed twice and when I got back it was just great to see family and friends, just there for you, congratulating you, thanking you."
The public is invited to help welcome home the 591st tomorrow.
They'll be arriving at the Hickory Valley Army Reserve around 3 o'clock.
