You must live a very sheltered life up on one of the high-and-mighty mountains. Listen. You wan ME to have respect for HIM, right? If I showed up in HIS 'hood', what do you think would happen? I'm white as a ghost. I'm just a moving target in the hood. Respect is EARNED, just like trust. This kid was carrying a gun with SOME kind of intent on his mind. Do you REALLY think that warrants respect? Suppose he had murdered someone? Should I still have respect for him?

You obviously have no idea what is going on in this city. I carry a gun for protection of friends and family. I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop, and because when only seconds count, 911 is just minutes away. You think it is MY destructive attitude towards THEM that gives me pause and causes me to worry about my safety? PLEASE! The children in this city carry guns. They are willing and able to kill. They are not forced to take responsibility for their behavior because of misguided people like YOU.
