VW and Chattaboogie Both Rock
I watched and followed Volkswagen's journey and pursuit of the best place to build their assembly plant with much interest. A Volkswagen freak describes me as does an admirer of Chattanooga. Even though I live in Nashville, when I learned of VW's decision I jumped, screamed and yelled as if I won the lottery. Bravo Chattanooga, bravo! You deserve it. And Volkswagen deserves Chattanooga. Like a peanut butter cup, two great things coming together.
I've watched your town change so much over the years, and if I may borrow a line once used to describe San Diego, "Chattanooga, a little town that grew up beautifully."
I wish your wundebar city and Volkswagen the best!
