This is, simply put, a matter of a public figure, who should be more accountable than anyone, violating the public trust. He was elected to do a job, a very important job, and instead, chose to abuse the very authority, with impunity, which I would be willing to bet he used, with extreme prejudice, against others. Tar and feather him, run him out of town on a rail, and make an example to others in public office who might choose the wrong path.
