
Static Plays at Tobes For Tots

The 3rd "Tobes for Tots" event last night brought toys for kids and some music for the older "kids" at Midtown Music Hall.
WDEF News 12 Producer Tobias Parrish organized the event for Toys for Tots....as his way of giving back to the community.
But he got a lot of help from the rock group "static", which just happens to be made up of musicians from News 12.
Anchor John Mercer on guitar and vocals...station engineer Mark Dunn on guitar and vocals....news photographers Ashley Henderson on Drums and Chris Lane on bass may not be an immediate threat to the Stones or Van Halen but we all think they are a class act.
"Static" opened up for a band called "Corleone" from Nashville.
