This weekend, CBS airs a Hallmark movie that's sure to tug on the heart strings of any dog lover.

"A Dog Named Christmas" is based on a book, that started out as a bedtime story for the author's kids.

It tells the story of a program that adopts out animal shelter pets to families for the holidays.

In the movie, the Yellow Lab, named Christmas, comes to the family of a developmentally challenged boy.

The movie airs Sunday night at 9:00PM right here on WDEF, News 12.
