Nightfall Preview

This Friday, Nightfall offers up some Irish Pop Rock.

The headliner is a sister act from Donegal, Ireland.. The Screaming Orphans.

Joan, Therese, Grainne and Angela Diver have been playing together since they were children.

They got their first international exposure by back up Sinead O'Conner tens years ago, a gig that landed them on David Letterman's show.

They are now based in New YorK, and have released a new album.

Since they are an Irish family band, people tend to compare them to the Corrs.

One commentator says they aren't quite as accomplished musically as the Corrs, but they write better songs.

As usual, we let you be the judge.

There is also this clip from a festival that shows them in a more traditional, Irish music setting, but the sound quality isn't all that great.

The show starts at 7:00 PM with Infinite Orange.  The Screaming Orphans play at 8:00.
