JOE FRUGAL: 12 days of Frugal, Day 7 - Hot Deal - iPod Nano with $50 Gift Card

I'm posting early today to let you know you need to get moving if you want the 7th Day of Frugal deal.  Think of it like a treasure hunt.  You're mission, should you choose to take part, is to hunt this deal down before someone else get it.

Earlier this week, a friend told me his child was interested in an iPod for Christmas and wondered if I knew of a good deal.  I've seen several iPod deals over the past several weeks, but today's may very well be the last of the season.

At 8:00am, Wal-mart will put the 8GB iPod Nano on sale for $145.  That price is about normal.  But wait, that's not all!  As part of their "while supplies last" specials, you also get a free $50 iTunes gift card with the iPod, so you can fill it up with new songs.  If you're late and miss the gift card deal, I suggest looking elsewhere.  Moments before I posted this, Amazon.com offered them for $133, although unless you pay for faster shipping, it wouldn't get to you by next Friday.

Oh, by the way, did you noticed the wrapping paper on the gift in the Joe Frugal seal yesterday?  Take a closer look.  My thanks to graphics wizard James Elrod for getting into the 12 Days of Frugal!

12 days of Frugal

Joe,
I have 6 grandchildren to shop for and they are very little children 5, 2, 2, 2, 1 and 1 years old. I am always on the lookout for a deal. I appreciate you letting me in on the coupons.com deal. I have been printing coupons from them and have saved so much money just from that site. I also passed that on to my friends and it helped them tremendously. I want to send my thanks and I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Sincerely,
Pat Mallard

Thank you Pat!  It's always

Thank you Pat!  It's always good to hear when you're able to do a little good for someone.  I don't mention it as often, cause there aren't as many coupons, but you can find more printable coupons from Red Plum, at redplum.com.  Also, I'm beginning to hear rumours that the first Sunday newspaper of 2010 will be stuffed with loads of coupons.  Merry Christmas to you, and take care. -Joe
