Animal Fix: Strange Sea Creatures Spotted in Chinese Lake

A Chinese TV reporter said he witnessed and shot a 20-minute video of six unidentified creatures in a deep volcanic lake near China's border with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Zhuo Yongsheng filmed the creatures at Lake Tianchi on September 9, and they were broadcast by CCTV (Chinese Central Television) on September 15. The footage shows what appear to be six creatures swimming side by side in the lake. Zhuo had seen the six seal-like, finned creatures swimming and frolicking in the lake for an hour and a half, before they were out of sight.

There is also a legend of a monster which has supposedly dwelled in the lake for over a century. But Chinese scientists had dismissed the reports, saying the lake was too cold for large creatures.
