
Lunar Eclipse As Seen From Chattanooga This Morning - 8/28/07

As the moon set this morning, the Tennessee Valley enjoyed a treat, a total lunar eclipse. The Earth's shadow slowly covered the moon while scattered and reflected sunlight caused by the Earth, gave it a reddish glow.
Missed it? There is another opportunity Feb. 21, 2008!
