Brian Didlake
Digital Producer/Multimedia Journalist

Brian Didlake joined the WDEF news team as the night side Digital Content Producer in August 2016 straight out of college. He has earned an additional title of Multi-Media Journalist.

Born in Fort Polk, Louisiana and raised around the world, Brian has a different outlook on life being raised a military child. He comes to News 12 already with an international outlook and just like his parents before him, is a reserves member in the United States Army serving at our local Chattanooga Reserve unit as a Signal Operations Specialist.

Brian earned his broadcast journalism degree at Middle Tennessee State University. He’s also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.

In his free time, Brian loves being surrounded by friends and afterwards enjoys reading a good book, painting and cooking. He has multiple awards from his previous paintings and his favorite dish to cook is seafood gumbo.

If you have any stories you’d like him to cover, or just want to say hello, feel free to shoot him an email at bdidlake@wdef.com!
