Medical Examiner confirms Etowah body was teen Kelsey Burnette

ETOWAH, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Medical Examiner’s Office confirms that the body found in Etowah this week was missing teen Kelsey N. Burnette.

The 18 year old had been reported missing just days before the body was found on Tuesday afternoon.

TBI officials are waiting on more information from the ME’s office before releasing more information on the cause of death.
