Body found in Etowah could be missing teen girl

ETOWAH, Tennessee (WDEF) – On the Fourth of July, an Etowah resident discovered a body off the side of the road on Charles Street.

The TBI, McMinn County Sheriff’s Department and Etowah City Police are investigating.

Local police say 18 year old Kelsey Burnette was reported missing on Saturday.

They suspect this could be her, but have not made a positive identification of the body yet.
