Chattanooga (WDEF) Chattanoogan’s step up to remember those in need at Christmas.

As of Tuesday morning, the Salvation Army reports every angel on the Angel Tree in Chattanooga has been adopted and only 137 remain in Cleveland. It could be the earliest point in time ever that that has happened.

Kimberly George, with the Salvation Army, says “Thank you, a big thank you to everyone who has gone out and adopted an angel. if you have, you have until Sunday to get those gifts back in to the Angel Tree tables.”

4,700 children and seniors in need will receive gifts for Christmas this year through the Angel Tree program.
