CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Last year, Marion County opened the playoffs with a 42-0 win over Westmoreland on their way to the 2-A state championship game.

The Warriors wouldn’t mind a little deja vu tonight, as they once again opened the playoffs against Westmoreland.

Marion County already dreaming of a return trip to the title game in Cookeville.

Isaiah Sampson the hand off to Jacob Saylors. Warriors off and running. Saylors a nice pick-up.

Sampson to pass. Hits Hunter Zemen who is just shy of the end zone.

Zemen would eventually get there though.

He gets the hand off and goes in for the touchdown. 7-0 warriors early first quarter.

Marion County’s defense was stout tonight as well.

Ty Heifner says that’s my football, and you can’t play with it.

He just steals it away.

Warriors then score on the quarterback keeper.

Deja vu indeed as Marion County wins it again this year, 42-0.
